"In the fourth year of our charity golf tournament, Carter Brothers Charities wanted to find a meaningful way to support the amazing work of one of our benefactor charities, Hosea Feeds the Hungry & Homeless," said Cris Carter, chairman of Carter Brothers, LLC and co-founder of Carter Brothers Charities. "Our ability to purchase an entire tractor-trailer of food and other items through Feed the Children provided a substantial gift that will assist Atlanta families and continue the noble work of the Hosea Feeds the Hungry & Homeless organization."

Probably one of Atlanta's best kept entrepreneurial secrets is the meteoric rise of Carter Brothers, LLC (Carter Brothers), a full service provider of electronic security, fire, life safety and project management services to commercial clients. Carter Brothers was established in July 2001, by combining the talents of two Carter brothers; John who built a successful career building football stadiums and public assembly facilities around the country with Cris' visibility, access, business savvy and marketing talent. In 6 years, Carter Brothers has become one of the largest electronic security and fire/life safety firms in the country with clients that include Tyco, General Electric, Wachovia, BP and many others. In 2003, the Carter brothers established Carter Brothers Charities to impact causes that are meaningful to the Carter family.

"We are proud to partner with Feed the Children to impact one of our benefactors Hosea Feeds the Hungry & Homeless in such a meaningful way. The Carter Brothers Charity Golf tournament was established four years ago by my family to bring our customers, clients and friends together to support worthy charitable causes and make significant contributions like this a reality for our various benefactor organizations," added John Carter (CEO & President of Carter Brothers, LLC), co-founder of Carter Brothers Charities.

"The Hosea Feed The Hungry staff and board of directors want to thank Carter Brothers Charities for sponsoring a truckload of food from Feed The Children," said Elizabeth Omilami, executive director for Hosea Feed The Hungry and Homeless. "Summer is a time when our food bank has given out most of its inventory and our storehouse is low. We look forward to continuing to serve the people of the State of Georgia and making an impact wherever people are hungry and hopeless."

"We are so grateful for organizations like Carter Brothers Charities," said Larry Jones, president and co-founder of Feed The Children. "The deep personal relationship that they have with the community makes organizations like Carter Brothers Charities so important to combating hunger in America."
