The LACS Release Lacademics Album

The songs are refreshing but not redundant." The title of the CD comes from the idea that the Lacs are educating the hip hop world about their style of music.

The album features guest appearances by the artists Pastor Troy, MR. MUDD, Da Great Yola, Raheem Da Dream and Big Shanty. Their primary goal is the reemergence of southern hip hop. Songs like "Jook", "Love Song", and "Way N Da Back" exemplify their approach.

About the Lacs:
The release of their debut album Midas Well Get Drunk the Lacs, which consists of artists Clay Sharpe (Uncle Snap), Brandon Herndon (Yocal), and Brian King (Captain Kang), have claimed a place in the independent music world.
