Poker Site Offers Free 'Texas Hold'em for Beginners' eBook
A site which usually reviews other people's eBooks has released it's own eBook for the first time.
Las Vegas, NV (PRWEB) July 5, 2007 --Poker Books Online (http://pokerbooksonline.blogspot.com) have announced the immediate distribution of a free eBook aimed at Texas Hold'em Beginners or intermediate players.
Although usually Poker Books Online specialize in the reviewing of other peoples poker eBooks, when the site was approached by professional online player, 'The Drifter', wanting to release his own eBook through the site, it was too good a chance to turn down.
Site owner Dave Chance says, "It's a good book for anyone who wants to get into playing poker but is a bit scared by all the different variations. The information is very concise and he discusses concepts which could improve even intermediate players' skills a lot."
The book deals with the basics of Texas Hold'em, such as the rules and blind structures, and then moves onto an easy basic strategy, based around playing at sit 'n' go single table tournaments. The book then talks through several more advanced concepts for the beginner to introduce into his game, such as bluffing, starting hand selection, check-raising , reading the flop and looking out for dangerous flops and many other nice little tips.
Another section of the book looks at bankroll management, which can often be the undoing of many a good player. The book has a great bankroll management system, devised by the author, which allows the player to steadily build up their cash, whilst making sure that they are not playing at too high a skill level.
It's a bankroll system which has already met with some success before, when it was released as a standalone system on an old site. It met with rave reviews here and is still adopted by many users of the site.
Also included in the free eBook is a guide to all the more well known poker rooms on the internet, plus exclusive bonus deals at all these site which could earn a shrewd player an extra $2000 in free bonuses.
Altogether it's an eBook that is definitely worth getting as almost any poker player, no matter what their skill level should be able to get something out of the book.
The book is available for download from Poker Books Online (http://pokerbooksonline.blogspot.com).
Poker Books Online was launched last year to help poker players chose which eBooks they should purchase out of the many different eBooks on the market. They review and score ones which they feel are the better books out there.
Who knows, someone reading this eBook may turn out to be a future World Series of Poker winner someday.
