Chesapeake Homes North Carolina, following a recent expansion into the Triangle market, has hired Mark Kring as production manager to oversee field operations, product development and purchasing.

A graduate of The University of Michigan with a B.A. in economics, Kring brings 13 years construction experience along with eight years of construction operation management. A former employee of Homes by Huff (Crossman Communities) and 1st American Builders, Kring started in the field and worked his way up to become an integral part of the management teams for both companies. Under his leadership, Homes by Huff grew from 50 units to 200 over 6 years and 1st American Builders grew from 23 to 145 closings in three years.
