This seems to be because some people who were hoping to get a 'Kiss and Fly' lift to the airport have changed their plans. But interestingly, there has been a noticeable bias towards park and ride style off-airport parking -- reports are that travellers want to avoid the congestion and security checks they may be subjected to in a private car. The savvy UK traveller is always one step ahead."
