ToolKing.com Launches New Website to Enhance Shopper Experience

ToolKing.com announces the launch of a new and improved website. The new site has advanced site search, easy navigation, new checkout features and more.

(PRWEB) July 10, 2007 -- ToolKing.com, one of America's largest online distributors of specialty and brand name tools, announced today that they have launched a new and improved version of their website. The new site incorporates advanced search capabilities and a more user-friendly interface that offers customers a quick and efficient shopping experience.

"ToolKing.com has been active in the ecommerce industry for seven years now, and we have recognized that we need to make some important changes to continue on our projected growth schedule. We are confident that ToolKing.com offers the best selection of tools, at the most competitive prices on the web. However, we have found that our search function was not efficient in leading customers to find the exact products that they were looking for," commented Managing Partner, Don Cohen.

ToolKing.com has revamped their entire site search to make searching for tools efficient and simple. The new site has advanced search capabilities that classify each tool in a number of categories, and subcategories, facilitating more accurate results then ever before. The improved search engine allows customers to simultaneously search a number of different criteria including: keyword, name, price, vendor, and manufacturer.

Ease of Checkout was also a concern for ToolKing.com when redesigning. The new site has a single-page checkout and the option of Paypal Express Checkout. "Having a quick and secure checkout is an integral part of the shopping experience. The new checkout features eliminate a number of steps in the purchasing process that typically lead to shopping cart abandonment or leave customers frustrated," added, Cohen.

In order to further facilitate easy navigation, ToolKing.com completely redesigned their site layout. The new site has brand stores that are specific to a manufacturer and offer important information about each brand. Newly added images and graphics lead shoppers to special sections for clearance items, package deals, bare tool offerings, and factory-reconditioned tool inventory.

Also new to ToolKing.com are two specialty sites: Toologics.com and TKRecon.com. Toologics.com features hundreds of product buying guides, tool news, and community discussions where users can socially interact and even post videos. TKRecon.com is a specialized tool store of factory-reconditioned tools that offer up to 40% savings on tools by top brand name manufacturers.

"Our vision for ToolKing.com is to be a comprehensive website where tool enthusiasts can shop, learn and interact. We feel that the new site redesign has accomplished this objective and we plan to see a lot of success through the new site," said Cohen.
