Sharan Tash, founder of the Wilmette-based business, The Professional Networker, Inc., and founder of the unique brand of connecting called Boomerang Networking was honored by receiving the prestigious President's Award from the Chicago Area Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO).

Chicago, IL (PRWEB) July 9, 2007 -- The illustrious President's Award was given to Sharan Tash by the 2006-2007 NAWBO-Chicago President, Catherine Lee of CDL & Associates on June 28th at NAWBO's Installation Dinner. The President's Award is NAWBO Chicago's MVP award. It recognizes the individual who was instrumental in the organization's accomplishments and achievements during the President's term.

In her capacity as the Board Director for Programming, Sharan was responsible for organizing NAWBO-Chicago's Mega-Networking dinners for the year and helping the Gidley Management Group organize the calendar of events. She was also the Chairperson for Corporate Retention and has helped build the retention committee through her networking. One of the questions that is asked at each committee meeting is, "What do you need in your business or personal life that one of us can help you with?" The Affiliates Committee is another volunteer area that she has put her time into, helping Angelika Coghlan of Catwalk Consulting and Gail Zelitzky of Silver-Robins Consulting to make NAWBO's Affiliate relationships stronger and more numerous.
