High Country Stampede Rodeo is Back in Winter Park, CO

The High Country Stampede Rodeo kicks off again this year in Winter Park, CO, on Saturday, July 7th. Events include bull riding, barrel racing, calf roping and mutton busting for the kids.

Winter Park, CO (PRWEB) July 7, 2007 -- The High Country Stampede Rodeo Series is back in Winter Park, CO for its 24th year. Starting July 7th, rodeo enthusiasts can attend one or all of eight rodeos scheduled every Saturday night throughout July and August. Each event draws an average of 700 visitors who enjoy a variety of rodeo events, including bull riding, barrel racing, calf roping and more. Youth are also encouraged to participate in the Junior Rodeo events. In addition to the various activities, rodeo fans will enjoy the Stampede's famous barbeque.

The rodeo is held in the John Work Arena, one mile west of the town of Fraser. The Junior Rodeo begins at 4:00 pm, and the Open Rodeo begins at 7 p.m. Ticket prices are $10 for adults, $8 for kids and seniors.
