Advanced Telecom Services of Wayne, PA, has been retained by Fan Text Mobile to support its text message voting format for the Minor League Baseball Eastern League All-Star Game in Norwich, Connecticut.
The selection process includes fan selection of one position player and one pitcher from each team. The balloting is being done via text messaging and by online voting on the Eastern League website (www.easternleague.com). For text votes, fans enter the team nickname followed by the player's number to vote him into the all-star game.
The Eastern League All-Star Game will be played on Wednesday, July 11, at 7:30 p.m., at the home of the Connecticut Defenders in Norwich. It will be broadcast by Comcast (CN8) and SportsNet New York. The Eastern League is a AA league in Minor League Baseball (www.minorleaguebaseball.com) made up of the following teams: Akron Aeros; Altoona Curve; Binghamton Mets; Bowie Baysox; Connecticut Defenders; Erie Seawolves; Harrisburg Senators; New Britain Rock Cats; New Hampshire Fisher-Cats; Portland Sea Dogs; Reading Phillies; Trenton Thunder.
