Using the latest in mobile phone technology, CampusMint gives college students access to discounts and promotions, weather, movie times and entertainment news. Joining CampusMint is straightforward and uncomplicated. Simply go to the CampusMint website, and register online. Once registered, students will receive a text message to their cellphones and are instructed to follow the steps below:
1) Press Go
2) Select Download
3) Run CampusMint
4) Wait for progress bar to complete
5) When finished, CampusMint will appear
6) CampusMint is stored and can be retrieved in the apps sections of your cellphone
To redeem CampusMint promotions, students simply show the Offer Screen to the participating merchant (just like redeeming a paper coupon). It's that easy! CampusMint is always free (nominal data charges may apply based individual carriers and plans). Once stored, the application will provide targeted promotions based on your zip code so it's great for traveling -- change the zip code depending on where you are and have access to that area's promotions. CampusMint respects your privacy and time, therefore the service will never spam or text you when you don't want it to. The application regularly updates the offers and waits for the user to access them.
