Real Witches & Wizards Turning Out for Order of the Phoenix

On July 13, opening night of the new Harry Potter movie, The Order of the Phoenix, many of the costumed Witches and Wizards you will see in the theater lobby will be the real thing.

(PRWEB) July 10, 2007 -- Hundreds of students and teachers from the online Grey School of Wizardry will be attending the latest in their favorite series of films in full regalia. So look for those robes, cloaks, and pointy hats, and ask them: "Are you a real Witch or Wizard?" They just might be.

The fourth Harry Potter movie takes us back to J.K. Rowling's fictional "Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry," made famous as the setting for seven novels and four previous movies. These books and films have become the most popular literary phenomenon of all time. Millions of readers and viewers would love to board the "Hogwarts Express" and travel to a remote academy that teaches real magick, Witchcraft, and Wizardry.

Well, as so often happens, fiction has become reality. A major online school has been established to meet these needs.

The Grey School of Wizardry was inspired by Headmaster Oberon Zell-Ravenheart's Grimoire for the Apprentice Wizard (New Page, 2004). Incorporated in California as a nonprofit educational institution, the Grey School offers an extensive program of studies in all areas of Wizardry and magick, at an Apprenticeship grade in seven "year-levels." Graduates are certified as "Journeyman Wizards."

Initially designed for students of ages 11-18, the Grey School has proven to appeal greatly to adults as well, who comprise 75% of the 700+ students currently enrolled. Some students are in their 70s. We are particularly pleased that some of our students are entire families of parents and children studying together.

In fact, while there are now several on-line schools teaching Witchcraft as a religion, there are no others with a specialized curriculum in genuine Wizardry, which is a secular study, like Science and Philosophy. The Grey School of Wizardry currently offers over 200 classes, with lessons, assignments, practical exercises, and exams taught by a highly-qualified Faculty, presently numbering 35.

And during July through August, the Grey School is sponsoring a "Why I Want To Be A Wizard" essay contest for youths 11-17. Seven winners (one of each age) will receive full first-year scholarships, personally autographed copies of Grimoire for the Apprentice Wizard, and beautiful wands from Willowroot Real Magic Wands. Full information is on the School's website at www.GreySchool.com.

"To those who study the occult, the name of Oberon Zell-Ravenheart is internationally known and respected. Perhaps, as some have written, Oberon is the real Albus Dumbledore to aspiring Harry Potters!" --Lee Prosser, Fate Magazine 3/19/2004
