Fannie May also announced today the addition of chocolate hand-dipping at these same stores along with 34 others in Chicago and four in Indiana, offering vanilla ice cream bars, premium dried fruits, gourmet cookies, and fresh strawberries, in season at select stores, hand-dipped in Fannie May chocolate. Described as in-store "theaters," the open kitchen areas are designed to entertain and educate customers on the confectioner's art.

The Fannie May Ice Cream collection features eight handcrafted, super premium ice cream flavors made from the finest quality ingredients: pure vanilla extract, fruit purees, rich caramel, buttery toffee, crunchy nuts, and, of course, Fannie May chocolate.

Fannie May Ice Cream will be available in kiddie, single and double scoop cake or waffle cones, either plain or hand-dipped in Fannie May chocolate; in single or double scoop sundaes topped with chocolate, strawberry or caramel sauce; in ice cream cookie sandwiches; and, in hand-packed take home pints. Additional toppings, such as signature chocolates, cashews, jellybeans, bridge mix, gummies, and sprinkles, may be added to any treat for a nominal charge.
