Making the right territory alignment change requires critical decision making, which in turn, requires a good analytical grasp of the market. AlignPlus has added new analytical features that provide just that. The new analytical tools enhance an already large repertoire of analytical features, including dot density and thematic mapping.
The newest feature is called the Attribute Report… not really a report but a powerful and graphical analytical tool. Now the user can make territory alignment changes and right click to get an evaluation of the impact on balancing of those changes across territories. In many cases, the reason for territory alignment changes is to balance the territories on some attribute of interest. Now the Administrator can get a graphical view with the district or region average displayed on the graph and quickly makes an assessment whether or not the alignment changes improve balance.
The second feature is Ratios; the capability to create ratios on the fly. No longer do Alignment Administrators need to load market share into the database, but rather this can be calculated within the software and at every level, account, zip code, territory, district, and region. These ratio attributes are available for displaying, analysis and for alignment purposes. Now Administrators will able to see where territories may be strong.
