Euroscreen SA today announced the appointment of Graeme Fraser, Ph.D. as Director of Drug Discovery.

Brussels, Belgium (PRWEB) July 16, 2007 -- Euroscreen SA today announced the appointment of Graeme Fraser, Ph.D. as Director of Drug Discovery.

Dr. Fraser will be responsible for directing the research and development programs at Euroscreen, focused on drug discovery. As a result of the progress we made over the past three years, Euroscreen is now entering a new phase in its development whereby it will validate proprietary drug targets and intensify drug discovery activities. "We are delighted that Graeme has joined Euroscreen as a key member of our executive team," stated Jean Combalbert, CEO of Euroscreen. "Graeme brings invaluable experience to the organization that will be essential for building a successful company and improving the productivity of our drug discovery process."

Before joining Euroscreen, Dr. Fraser's most recent position was as the VP, Drug Discovery at Tranzyme, Inc. for five years. Prior to Tranzyme, Dr. Fraser spent two years in charge of preclinical development at Viron Therapeutics Inc., and five years at AstraZeneca, Canada, working in in vivo pharmacology. Dr. Fraser holds a Ph.D. from Mc Gill University, Canada. "I am excited to take on the challenge of Director of Drug Discovery at Euroscreen", said Graeme Fraser. "Euroscreen has the GPCR science and technologies to become a powerhouse in drug discovery, and I look forward to making that work."
