Glowpoint Certifies HaiVision Telepresence Equipment
Glowpoint Inc., a premiere broadcast-quality, IP-based managed video service provider, and HaiVision, a leading provider of network video equipment used in broadcast video distribution and telepresence suites by some of the key providers of telepresence rooms, today announced the certification of the HaiVision line of products for use on the Glowpoint network.
Hillside, NJ (PRWEB) July 16, 2007 -- Glowpoint Inc., a premiere broadcast-quality, IP-based managed video service provider, and HaiVision, a leading provider of network video equipment used in broadcast video distribution and telepresence suites by some of the key providers of telepresence rooms, today announced the certification of the HaiVision line of products for use on the Glowpoint network. The HaiVision line can be supported by Glowpoint's managed video services, also known as VNOC (Video Network Operations Center) service. The companies will be located in adjoining booths at the upcoming InfoComm07 trade show in Anaheim, California, June 18 - 21. Attendees can see the performance of the HaiVision products in live video calls across the Glowpoint network from the show floor to Glowpoint's offices in Hillside, New Jersey.
The companies plan to partner on opportunities which include both HaiVision products and Glowpoint services. Both companies will pursue these opportunities through their respective distribution channels.

HaiVision's hai1000 multi-stream codec technology (as used in the world's foremost telepresence suites) and TASMAN encoder/decoder are based on the highest performance implementation of H.264, and are expanding to support up to 1080p high definition. HaiVision's products deliver the highest full-motion picture quality while supporting the lowest end-to-end latency available.
