Jerry Salandro to Speak at Western PA Leadership Conference

Johnstown, PA (PRWEB) July 15, 2007 -- Jerry Salandro, President and Chief Executive Officer of IRIS Technologies (www.iristech.com) and President and Chief Executive Officer of Landro, Inc. will deliver his speech, "How To Become Unbelievably Successful" at the Western Pennsylvania Leadership Conference sponsored by the Future Farmers of America. The speech will be given Friday morning July 20 at 8AM in the Science and Engineering building at the Universities Johnstown Campus.

Mr. Salandro's address will focus on sound principles of success. "I firmly believe", Salandro states, "that people want to think there are hundreds of things they have to do to become successful when in fact, there are only three simple rules to follow."

According to Mr. Salandro, two of these rules stand out above others. First, be grateful. Always thank people. He reminds us "We never get to where we are through our own efforts alone, but through hundreds of people who came before us to make our world a better place. Many died to protect the life we all now enjoy. A grandfather, a grandmother, an aunt and uncle, people who treated you and loved you as if you where their son or daughter. A mom, a dad who worked hard so you could have the best, a life better than theirs, a teacher, a coach, a mentor who encouraged you and gave of their time to you."

Second, he says, be prepared. Salandro offers that luck has little to do with success, there may be luck in timing but it is hard work beforehand that allows the prepared to take advantage of the opportunity to succeed. The last rule is to be significant. "Remembering those who helped you by helping others become successful is the greatest reward to you both."
