Richard Romanus parts ways with live auction broadcasting site.

Roanoke, VA (PRWEB) July 15, 2007 -- Richard Romanus, Sr., President of AuctionFloor.com a subsidiary of AuctionFloor Inc., a publicly held company, announced recently that he will step down as president.

Romanus the President/CEO and founder of the Internet's largest Auction community, AuctionServices.com, Inc., commented, "In the 90 days or so of my taking office as president of AuctionFloor.com, an unbelievable amount of building took place on the infrastructure. I think AuctionFloor.com has a lot of potential in the world of online bidding with its unique tie to eBay and could be organically grown to effectively deliver auctions and content to the world of bidders."

According to Romanus, "There are a few hurtles that AuctionFloor, Inc. must overcome to clear the way and energize the company and its platform in the mega billion dollar industry of online auctions."

Romanus would not comment as to why he has decided to step down from
AuctionFloor.com other than to say that he found that the company had a direction for further development that was incompatible with his views on the matter.

"I have no regrets," he said. "It was a true learning experience for me about publicly held companies. Knowing what I know now, had I been given more opportunity to implement my ideas, the shareholders would likely have seen how special this unique platform could be in what is now a very cookie cutter industry of online auctions."

Romanus plans to continue building AuctionServices.com and working to make a difference in the auction world as he has for over 13 years. "My plans for the future are uncertain when it comes to online bidding," explained Romanus, "but AuctionServices.com, Inc. continues to break all previous years records in growth. I will concentrate for now on building better tools and services for the auction industry as well as building public awareness of what this industry has to offer. I will continue to keep my eye on the online auction side of things, waiting for the right opportunity to also take this segment of the industry to new and exciting heights, where no others have gone thus far.
