Eco-Centric Expands into Menswear and Teams up with American Forests
Eco-Centric teams up with American Forests to plant a tree for every shirt purchased in the Men's "Plant a Tree" collection.
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) July 15, 2007 -- Initially launched early this year as a women's line, founder/designer Laura Chambers decided to expand the Eco-Centric collection into Men's T-shirts for Holiday.
Teaming up with an organization she is also passionate about, besides the Sierra Club (10% of all proceeds go to charity) like American Forests (http://www.americanforests.org) a tree will be planted for every garment that is sold. This organization works to protect, restore and enhance the natural capital of the trees and forests. Healthy forests filter water, remove air pollution, sequester carbon and provide homes for wildlife.
A new organic thermal fabric is also introduced for women for Eco-Centric's holiday collection, which include beautiful photographic graphic designs of nature that are digitally printed.
Prices for the new Men's "Plant a Tree" collection range start at $68, while the women's collections ranges from $42-$164.
The new holiday line will be available online at www.eco-centricstyle.com starting in September, and is available at finer boutiques including Fred Segal and YogaWorks.
