Hallmark Institute of Photography Announces Expansion of Alumni Services. A newly created department, Alumni Relations, will serve as a vehicle to connect Hallmark graduates with one another beyond graduation, to offer post-graduate educational, networking and social opportunities all in an effort to enhance the education delivered at the institute.

Turners Falls, MA (PRWEB) July 16, 2007 -- George J. Rosa III, president of Hallmark Institute of Photography, proudly announces the expansion of services provided by the school to its alumni via the creation of a new department, Alumni Relations. Mr. Rosa states, "Our objective is to further enhance the value of Hallmark's Certificate of Completion. When a student chooses to attend Hallmark, they join a family of serious and committed professional photographers who are leading the way into the future of the ever-changing imaging industry. Therefore, it is essential that we, the school, continue to play an active role in the careers of our graduates." More than 2,300 talented individuals have graduated this unique ten-month program over the past thirty-two years. "The time has come for Hallmark to take a more formal role in assisting to connect our graduates with one another for further enhancement of their education and to provide opportunities for networking and sharing experiences and camaraderie," adds Mr. Rosa.

Kirsten Snow, a 1985 graduate of Hallmark Institute, has been hired as Director of Alumni Relations. Ms. Snow echoes Mr. Rosa's comments by adding, "The time spent at Hallmark Institute is just the beginning of what we hope will be a long and prosperous career in the field of photography, therefore, it makes sense that the school can create ways for its graduates to network with one another. The ten months spent at Hallmark is rich; a unique bond is formed between students during their time together. The connection extends to include all graduates, simply because we have shared similar experiences through the Hallmark experience."

"We are pleased to welcome Kirsten back to Hallmark in this capacity," says Mr. Rosa. "Her diverse background lends itself well to the role we have asked her to fill." Ms. Snow has worked in the field of professional photography for the past twenty-two years as a business owner both as a photographer and as a manufacturers' sales representative. Ms. Snow has returned to the school as a guest lecturer on a regular basis and she has served as a member of Hallmark's Program Advisory Committee.

Alumni Relations will serve as a vehicle to connect Hallmark graduates with one another beyond graduation, to offer post-graduate educational, networking and social opportunities all in an effort to enhance the education delivered at the institute.
