Rankings for the 50 fastest growing privately held firms were based on revenue growth from 2005-2006. The top 50 was made up of privately held firms either headquartered or having a strong presence in the Baltimore area. To qualify, a company must have had a minimum of $100,000 in 2006 revenues and been in business for at least two full years.
