New survey finds that 60% of working mothers prefer part-time.

According to the results of a national survey released by The Pew Research Center ( last week, six in 10 working mothers said part-time jobs would be their ideal, up from 48 percent in 1997. "I feel this is a true reading of where people are at, what they think is best for their children, and how to juggle their responsibilities as a parent and worker," states Pew researcher Cary Funk.
