The Beadin' Path Launches Bead Blogs

The Beadin' Path (www.beadinpath.com), an online purveyor of beading supplies, has launched Bead Blogs, an online blog for the beading enthusiast.

Freeport, Maine (PRWEB) July 19, 2007 -- The Beadin' Path (http://www.beadinpath.com/), an online purveyor of beading supplies, has launched Bead Blogs, an online blog for the beading enthusiast.

"Beadditudes", by Dara Spiotto, covers everything from vintage jewelry to how to properly organize beads. Dara posts regularly on all things beading providing the novice and guru helpful tips and insights into the world of beading.

Confessions of a Bead Collector
The store's co-owners, Jan Parker and Heather DeSimone, blog in "Confessions of a Bead Collector" and "What's in Store." They discuss how they became obsessed with beads and their latest finds.

Bead Blogs are just one of many new features on The Beadin' Path web site. Jan Parker said, "Advertising in the trade magazines is quite expensive. There are so many magazine ads it is challenging to get noticed. We needed to find a new way to reach our existing and potential customers."

Bead Blogs grew out of conversations with The Beadin' Path's technology partners, OneWebWorks (http://www.onewebworks.com/) and rackAID (http://www.rackaid.com/). Wally Wallace of OneWebWorks suggested blogging and migrating to a new integrated ecommerce and content management system. These changes would allow The Beadin' Path staff to keep the content fresh and better communicate with their customers. Working with rackAID and OneWebWorks, the new Beadin' Path site was born.

rackAID's President, Jeff Huckaby, said, "The Beadin' Path project highlights how we work with our clients to leverage technology on their behalf. This project required changing hosting control panels, operating systems and shopping cart software. By using a virtualized server and collaborating with OneWebWorks, we were able to reduce migration cost and downtime during the process."

Wally Wallace said, "I love to see my clients grow and become successful. I've always found that different people do things well. My expertise is in web design and development, Jan knows all about beads, and rackAID knows all about server technology. Working together as a team we deliver a great product with The Beadin' Path's customers reaping the benefits."

The Beadin' Path continues to look for new and exciting ways to reach out to their customers. They welcome any feedback or visits to their store at 15 Main Street, Freeport, ME.
