Lt.Col. Weede's distinguished military career began following his graduation from the Virginia Military Institute in 1986 when he was commissioned a 2ndLt of Marines. His 21 years in the Marine Corps included tours in Kaneohe Hawaii; Camp Pendleton, CA; Fort Benning, GA; Camp Lejeune, NC; and Washington, DC. His last assignment before retiring from the Marine Corps was as the AC/S G-3 Chief of Operations, US Marine Forces, Central Command at MacDill AFB, Tampa, FL.
