Bead Cruise Sails Again

Unique bead retreat gears up for their 2008 adventure.

San Antonio, TX (PRWEB) July 20, 2007 -- Jewelry-making and a luxury cruise, does that sound like a dream vacation? Over 50 bead enthusiasts agreed as they joined the Bead Cruise in March of 2007. The event has been such a success that bead artist, Heather Powers is hosting the 3rd annual Bead Cruise in 2008.

Joining Heather on the next Bead Cruise is her assistant, fellow bead artist and mother, Beverly Herman. This mother-daughter duo organize the event with classes, workshops, demonstrations and open beading sessions to fill the 5-night cruise.

Other instructors include Marcia DeCoster, Rachel Nelson-Smith and Eni Oken. The classes have something for everyone: off-loom beading, wire-work, bead embroidery, beadmaking and unique bead stringing projects. The instructors teach all over the world, including at the biggest beading events in the country. The Bead Cruise focuses on quality classes with innovative designers.

The next Bead Cruise will set sail March 1, 2008, from Ft. Lauderdale, FL, with stops in Ocho Rios, Jamaica and Georgetown, Grand Cayman. We'll travel aboard Royal Caribbean's Navigator of the Seas. The Navigator is an incredible 14-story tall cruise ship with it's own skating rink, three-story dining room, onboard mall and more.
