Confidence Bay Tees up the Dennis Quaid Charity Weekend for AT&T Blue Room

Austin, TX (PRWEB) July 20, 2007 -- For the fifth year in a row, the Warrior Custom Golf/Dennis Quaid Charity Weekend presented by HEB entertained the Austin community while raising money for local children's charities. From tee to green, onlookers cheered over forty Hollywood celebs including Quaid, Haley Joel Osment, "CSI Miami" star Rex Linn, Luke Wilson, Don Felder of The Eagles, Texas Governor Rick Perry, Brett Cullen, and Leah Thompson.

Players hit the links of the Onion Creek Golf Club, played poker at the Omni Hotel, and watched Dennis Quaid and the Sharks rock the house at venerable Austin nightclub La Zona Rosa.

In an effort to support the charities and raise awareness, Zaring/Cioffi Entertainment (the event producer) teamed up with Confidence Bay (www.confidencebay.com), a mobile HD edit bay. Confidence Bay not only shot the events, but digitized and edited the footage on-location. The resulting footage is available on the AT&T blue room (www.attblueroom.com/hollywood). Fans visiting the blue room will experience highlight reels from the weekend's golf tournament, poker game and concert.

"They wanted extra buzz, and we wanted to help," says Michael Weis, Confidence Bay's president and CEO. "We have covered concerts, festivals, and now charity events. It's the perfect match for our editing capabilities. We can digitize the footage immediately, and start editing when and where the action is happening. When we hook up with AT&T blue room for content delivery, it's perfect."

John Zaring, president & CEO of Zaring/Cioffi Entertainment concurs. "Confidence Bay did a fantastic job for us; they shot great footage, turned it around lickety-split, and put it up online immediately. They've provided a dramatic vehicle for us to reach a wider audience," he said.

"There's only one problem with editing at these events," Confidence Bay's CTO and lead editor Sam Crutsinger added, "I am so busy working while the event is still happening; I never get to see any of the action!"

The fifth annual installment of the Dennis Quaid Charity Weekend was sponsored by Warrior Custom Golf and HEB. The event has raised over $1 million and awareness for the International Children's Hospital, Dell Children's Medical Center of Central Texas, Any Baby Can, and the Austin Children's Shelter.
