Andrew Peterson Joins Xtiva as New Vice President of Technology

Based in Xtiva's San Francisco location, Peterson is responsible for all technology functions including product management and development, quality assurance, data center operations, and IT/networking. Peterson brings years of experience in building and managing engineering teams in the enterprise software space. Prior to joining Xtiva, Peterson was Vice President of Engineering at Adomo where he helped grow the technology team from a small startup to a scalable organization. Prior to Adomo, he spent two years at Callidus Software as Vice President - Engineering running their Information Products group where he spearheaded the development of their portal, reporting, and analytics offerings. Prior to Callidus, Peterson was Vice President of Development for nQuire Software, a start up that developed a next generation analytics server. nQuire was acquired by Siebel Systems where Peterson managed the Analytics Server group, and was instrumental in helping grow revenues to $230 million in just two years.
Prior to Siebel, Peterson was Vice President of Database Administration Tools at Platinum Technology in charge of all aspects of product development. Prior to Platinum, he was an Advisory Engineer at IBM's Santa Teresa Laboratory where he worked on various components of the DB2 database management system. While at IBM, he was lead developer for the design and development of the Index Manager component and the development of row level locking.
