Bid2Blog.com is a project advertorial posting and bidding open marketplace dedicated to blogging needs for advertisers seeking blog content -- and a way for bloggers to competitively bid on and win projects for extra cash. Advertisers seeking editorial content on blogs across the world, can login and post their needs. Bloggers then competitively bid to win the project based on their bids. The site is the brainchild of techie turned entrepreneur turned part-time-blogger Vishal Lamba from India. "While there are existing website systems where Bloggers can post a fixed figure on how much they would charge advertisers per blog post or review -- there is no 'fair' and 'open market place' anywhere as yet. This results in advertisers being sort of arm-wrestled into paying bloggers the money they seek per post -- even though the amount may not be justified. Bid2Blog.com brings fairness into the equation by way of competitive bidding and pricing," says founder Vishal Lamba, who runs the site as a part time project.

Bid2Blog.com is a fair hub by its virtue of being an open marketplace, just like a project bidding site. Bids placed are competitive in nature, and it is not necessary for the Advertiser to pick the lowest bidder as the winner. They may evaluate the "best bid" based on many factors, including blogger's profile, their blog's estimated traffic, Google Page Rank, Alexa ranking, Technorati incoming links, proposal submitted and price, amongst others.

Bloggers may sign up and create their profiles and bid on any number of projects for free. They are only required to pay a 10% commission on projects they win, complete and get paid for.

Advertisers may post projects at no cost and are not charged any commissions whatsoever, and are only required to pay the selected Blogger on project completion or as per their terms with the blogger.
