Polaris Vice President Teaches AMA Training Series on Branding

Senior Vice President Debra Semans will teach classes on the concepts of brand strategies and brand positioning for the American Marketing Association. Classes will be held in Pennsylvania, Illinois, and California over the next three months and are open to anyone who is interested in brand strategies and brand positioning.

Polaris Marketing Research announced today that Senior Vice President Debra S. Semans is conducting a training series on internal brand strategies and brand positioning for the American Marketing Association.

The two-day brand strategy seminars will be held in Philadelphia, Chicago and Newport Beach, Calif., over the next three months.

The seminars are open to anyone who wants to understand the concept of brand positioning to align their organization's actions, to deliver their brand promise and to use their brand to meet their organization's goals, including senior managers and others in marketing, strategy and human resources positions at for-profit and nonprofit organizations.

Participants will learn to understand the importance of brand positioning and aligning actions with their brand promise, understand the value and power of their brand as a management and execution tool, explore their brand's key leverage points and develop a plan of action for strengthening their brand through execution and an effective brand strategy.
They also will learn brand strategies to use their brand to create meaningful and valued relationships, making branding every employee's responsibility and design high-impact brand experiences.

The seminar in Philadelphia is scheduled Aug. 16-17 at The Hub CityView, while the one in Chicago will take place Sept. 17-18 at Summit Executive Centre. The Newport Beach seminar is Oct. 1-2 at The Balboa Bay Club & Resort.

Semans has over 20 years experience helping various organizations create and enhance brands and brand positioning. She works with clients to define optimal market brand positions and the brand strategies to make them a reality. She is a frequent speaker and lecturer on internal branding and other branding topics.
