(PRWEB) July 28, 2007 -- WestWordVision was recently hired by the Arizona Mexico Commission (AMC) as their agency of record. WestWordVision's first assignment was to design new print material for the Summer Plenary Session attended by almost 500 industry, government and community leaders and advocates from Mexico and Arizona.

"WestWordVision was a natural fit for Arizona-Mexico Commission," states Victor Flores, AMC President. "Since they live and work in the border region, they understand the dynamics of our bi-national community. It was also important to us that WestWordVision understood the importance of our work and how the organization benefits both international communities."

Founded in 1959 by Governor Paul J. Fannin, the Arizona-Mexico Commission is one of the most successful and longest running organizations of its kind in the United States. The AMC's primary mission is to promote a strong, cooperative relationship with Mexico through advocacy, trade, networking and information sharing.

"It is an honor to work with AMC. We deeply respect their mission and feel we share a common vision to support cross-border trade and relationships," states Paula Schaper, President of WestWordVision. "We have a track record of working with businesses and organizations that have a bi-national focus so we were immediately excited about the opportunity to work with AMC.

This year alone, the Arizona-Mexico Commission and their partners secured over $55 million in federal funds for infrastructure improvements to Arizona's ports of entry. In addition the organization has facilitated an Arizona delegation trip to Mexico City to connect Arizona and Mexico private sector leaders and met with President Calderon and his administration to strengthen the relationship between our states. The AMC also launched National Geographic's first bi-national MapGuide of the Arizona-Sonora desert to increase exposure, tourism and commerce for our culturally rich region in a responsible, sustainable way.
