Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) August 1, 2007 -- An extraordinary partnership between the American Committee for Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem and Craig 'N Co., a Jewish music production company in Los Angeles, has produced Jewels of Elul III, a collection of stories, anecdotes and inspirations for the High Holidays.
Released in concurrence with the Jewish Holy Days, Jewels of Elul III features contributions from a diverse group including 2 Nobel Laureates, an Academy Award winner, an Israeli soldier, a Grammy winner, Rabbis, artists and scholars.
"We asked people to write with a particular theme in mind, 'Hope and Healing,'" says Craig Taubman, head of Craig 'N Co. "The 29 Jewels we received were introspective and inspired, revealing and rejoicing." Paul Glasser, National Executive Director of the American Friends of Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem, says that, "Offering the Jewels is a great way for Shaare Zedek to reach out to the community during this special time of year."
Craig 'N Co. and the American Committee expect the project to reach hundreds of thousands of people around the world through a printed booklet and online at www.jewelsofelul.com, making Jewels of Elul III a most ambitious outreach project for the Jewish High Holy Days.
Jewels of Elul III, conceived and produced by Craig 'N Co. and made possible by Friends of the American Committee for Shaare Zedek, is available for free by calling 800-707-9250 or by visiting www.jewelsofelul.com.
