Oklahoma City, OK (PRWEB) August 1, 2007
Orange Pants LLC announced the launch of a series of food and wine themed websites today. The first group in the series will consist of 51 sites carrying the VineTrekker brand name. VineTrekker.com will be the central hub and will spotlight various vineyards from across the United States in their Featured Vineyard section. The site will also provide information on wine and food pairing, as well as the latest news about wine. There will also be a VineTrekker site for each of the 50 states. VineTrekkerAlabama.com, VineTrekkerColorado.com, VineTrekkerFlorida.com, VineTrekkerIllinois.com, VineTrekkerKansas.com, VineTrekkerMichigan.com, VineTrekkerNebraska.com, VineTrekkerNorthCarolina.com, VineTrekkerOklahoma.com, VineTrekkerSouthCarolina.com and VineTrekkerTexas.com will be the first eleven state sites to go live, with the remaining 39 following shortly thereafter. All VineTrekker sites will provide a User Forum where visitors can connect and discuss vineyards and wineries in their own state or in states they plan to visit. This forum will provide a platform where people can gather to inquire or share information related to anything from their favorite local wine to memorable experiences they've had and would recommend to others.
Orange Pants LLC will also launch FoodandWineBook.com which will feature advice on pairing food with wine. The site will feature a new e-book that has been written by the creators of VineTrekker.com and will provide a comprehensive guide to creating a menu that works well with a particular bottle of wine as well as selecting the perfect wine to complement any dinner menu.
In addition, TheToastMasterGeneral.com site will offer sample toasts for any occasion as well as great drinking quotes gathered from various sources. TheToastMasterGeneral.com will feature an e-book entitled "The Toast Directory" which will detail the history of toasting, as well as tips and etiquette one should know before offering a toast and of course it will offer over 75 original toasts for multiple occasions written by the authors. This book will be a "must-have" for anyone asked to give a toast and also a great gift for people who like to play host on occasion or businessmen/businesswomen that are asked on occasion to offer a toast at work functions.
The final site launching today will be WanderingWineGuy.com. This site will offer a blog format that documents the world travels of the infamous WanderingWineGuy as he seeks out great destinations as well as great vineyards and wine. This site will offer travel tips that are both broad and destination-specific. Some of the destination cities discussed thus far include: Amsterdam, Beijing, Chicago, Sydney and Shanghai.
All of the sites mentioned will feature both a forum where visitors can share their stories, critiques and comments and free advertising in the form of a link exchange program. The founders and employees of VineTrekker.com hope that small vineyards, travel companies and related organizations around the world will take advantage of this platform and use it to spread the word that local wineries can provide both unique day/weekend trips and great wine.
