Alpine Graphic Apparel chosen supplier to El Fasher Golf Club in the Darfur region of western Sudan.

Don Allen, owner of Alpine Graphic Apparel, is proud to be involved with this project, as he feels it brings some sense of hope to the people of this impoverished nation.

Alpine Graphic Apparel was retained by Paul McNeill, chief of administrative services for the United Nations' Assistance Mission in Darfur, who has helped establish golf courses in three other third-world countries. McNeill develops these golf courses on his own personal time, in addition to his responsibilities with the UN.

The Darfur project is Alpine Graphic Apparel's second international venture, after having worked previously with McNeil for the Kabul Golf Club in Kabul, Afghanistan. McNeil plans to continue developing golf courses, and Allen hopes he will continue to include logo golf clothing from Alpine Graphic Apparel.
