Virginia Lawyer elected to Prestigious Positions in America.

Stephen M. Smith has recently been honored by being inducted as the Chairman-Elect of The Traumatic Brain Injury Litigation Group of The American Association of Justice and to the National Board of The Belli Society while attending the Annual Meeting of the American Association of Justice in Chicago.

Stephen M. Smith, the founder of the Brain Injury Law Center, is President of the Brain Injury Association of Virginia, a Virginia Super Lawyer for 2007, is included in The Best Lawyers in America -2007 Edition and a Charter Fellow of The American Academy of Trial Counsel and has been litigating traumatic brain injury cases for more than 33 years.

He won the largest personal injury verdict in Virginia history, the largest mild traumatic brain injury verdict ever awarded in the world and just recently won the largest premises liability verdict in Virginia history.

Smith is licensed to practice in Virginia, New York and the District of Columbia. He is the only attorney from Virginia to ever be awarded a Diplomate status by the American Board of Trial Advocates and is listed in Who's Who in American Law.
