Fairfax, VA (PRWEB) August 4, 2007
SiteWelder® (http://www.sitewelder.com), a leading online host of easy-to-use editable websites for visual professionals, announced the ability to add audio and music tracks to users' websites. Users can now add MP3 audio files to individual slide shows or play background audio throughout their entire website.
"One of the most frequent feature requests we have received over the past year was the ability for our clients to add music to their sites," said Mason Miller, SiteWelder Chief Technical Officer. "With that in mind, we have expanded audio capabilities in two ways. Our new 'Reston' template offers the ability for artists to easily upload an MP3 file to be played continuously throughout a visit to their site. On our other templates, we offer audio to be played on the homepage, as well as the ability to add MP3 audio to each of their Flash-enabled galleries, giving them the ability to tailor the audio to the subject matter of each gallery."
Adding an audio file is easy in SiteWelder through the user administration control panel. Users can upload their own MP3 files or purchase audio from preferred vendors. Rates for rights start as low as $7 per song. Users are responsible for obtaining rights for all audio files placed on their websites.
Added to the list of templates is the newly designed "Reston," which features a gallery dropdown menu and site-wide use of audio. It is a modern three-dimensional look that enhances the look of images and incorporates the playing of an audio track throughout the site. Visit these sites for a live demonstration:
The audio/music capability is an additional feature added to the many included SiteWelder benefits. Other features included at no extra charge: the ability to change templates at any time, over 400 variations of templates, unlimited galleries, search engine optimization, online sales, Flash-based gallery slideshows, site statistics and industry-leading technical support.
