Free File-Works, a new free file sharing service, is now on-line serving those who have a need to send a large file from one location to another over the Internet. Free File-Works requires no signup, registration or login of any kind, and is much easier to use than most other file sharing services.

Files up to 500 MB in size can be uploaded to the site at http://free.file-works.com. After the upload completes, a secure link to the uploaded file is provided. This link can be Emailed by the site to as many as 10 Email addresses that you supply, or it can be distributed by any other means chosen by the uploader. Loading the download link in a web browser (clicking the download link) will immediately initiate a download of the file.

"The download links are quite secure," according to Bill Gordon, File-Works CEO. "We generate a unique 12-digit alphanumeric code for each download link. The chance of guessing someone else's download code is 1 in 4,738,381,338,321,616,896 -- somewhere between slim and none, but much closer to none."
