Pete Quintas, senior vice president of surveillance solutions for InterAct Public Safety Systems, will be speaking at the 73rd annual APCO International, in Baltimore, MD. He will be presenting, "Protecting the PSAP".

During Congressional committee testimony into post-September 11 security issues, Bill Caruso, press spokesman for Representative Rob Andrews (D-NJ), cited concerns about "attacks on the power grid, 911 systems, and other critical infrastructure." Thus, the need to protect the PSAP and employees is critical to ensuring public safety. Quintas will discuss available technology that can increase the security of PSAPs and employees to keep 9-1-1 services running.
