Children's gear manufacturer Boon Inc. launches new layette line in partnership with Weeplay.

Tempe, AZ (PRWEB) August 5, 2007 -- Boon Inc, maker of innovative children's gear, is partnering with New York City-based Weeplay to launch a new layette line for Spring '08. In keeping with Boon's style, the layette collection will include several innovative features combined with fresh, modern designs.

Rebecca Finell, Design Principal at Boon, custom designed each piece and worked with Weeplay's design department to develop innovative features including the "Drool Patch", a sleek alternative to a bib. "In the same way that we design Boon products, we wanted to focus on the functionality as well as the style when designing the new layette line," said Finell. The new features are meant to make the garments function better and be easier to use.

Finell also designed reusable storage cases to package the layette line. "We look forward to introducing freshness to the industry not only in terms of the clothing designs, but the Boon layette will also set the bar with new innovative packaging that consumers will be drawn to instantly," comments Normal Jemal, Executive Vice President at Weeplay.

In addition to the "Drool Patch" the Boon layette collection will include bodysuits, coveralls, rompers, pants, hats, socks, blankets, burp cloths, and bibs.
