In 2003, Mrs. Kufeji reached a breaking point, becoming depressed and seriously considering suicide. At that time, she cried out to God asking questions like: Why have I come into this world? What happens after I leave it? What is my purpose here?

Mrs. Kufeji never once thought it necessary to give her life to Christ until she became an adult and her problems intensified and became too much for her to handle. She didn't know how to pray, but she called out to Jesus and asked for forgiveness. That year, Mrs. Kufeji had what she calls an encounter with God, and she heard from Him almost daily.
