Modern Media Partners to Become Minority Owner of Ypulse; Company to Develop Additional Events and Blogs for Marketing to Gen Y

Youth Pulse LLC, publisher of the leading independent blog providing daily news and commentary about Generation Y - tween, teen and college youth up to age 25 - for media and marketing professionals, and Modern Media Partners LLC, a company that builds, produces, markets and sells business conferences and media brands, today announced that Modern Media will become a minority owner of Ypulse, LLC. Youth Pulse LLC, publisher of the leading independent blog providing daily news and commentary about Generation Y -- tween, teen and college youth up to age 25 -- for media and marketing professionals, and Modern Media Partners LLC, a company that builds, produces, markets and sells business conferences and media brands, today announced that Modern Media will become a minority owner of Ypulse, LLC. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Ypulse and Modern Media will produce more Mashup Conferences including the Tween Mashup in New York, NY, September 28, the College Mashup in Miami, FL, in the spring 2008, and the National Mashup in San Francisco, CA, in July 2008. Ypulse will expand coverage of teens and tweens through an expanding niche blog network, launching a blog that covers campus trends and life after college, including Gen Y issues in the workplace. Expanded coverage ultimately will include international youth trends.
