This agreement is more about people than bricks-and-mortar, paper or equipment
Tampa, FL (PRWEB) August 7, 2007
Response Mail Express today announced an agreement in principle to purchase certain tangible and intangible assets of Postmark DMS of Houston, Texas. Postmark ceased daily operations on July 23, 2007. The agreement was signed after negotiations in both Tampa and Houston between Senior Management teams of Postmark and Response Mail Express.
"This agreement is more about people than bricks-and-mortar, paper or equipment," said Tom Panaggio, CEO of Response Mail Express. "This agreement is a good thing for RME, Postmark and of course the financial services industry. Postmark was a quality company and an active competitor," Panaggio continued. "This was a mutually beneficial arrangement which allows Postmark customers to continue to receive the same high-quality services they are accustomed to with minimal, if any, impact on their business."
Speaking for Postmark, Roger Marksberry said, "On behalf of Postmark, we want to thank Response Mail Express for the manner in which they handled this sensitive situation and strongly encourage all of our clients to support this action."
Effective immediately, all phone, email and website communications will be redirected to RME's home office and production facility in Tampa, FL. This purchase solidifies Response Mail Express' position as the preeminent industry leader as the provider of high-quality, proven, effective lead generation and seminar marketing services.
