Bandwidth Conference Announces Alejandro Escovedo As Artist Keynote

The Bandwidth Music | Technology Conference, which explores the evolving musical experience, announces that artist Alejandro Escovedo will appear as a keynote "conversation with" at the conference, which takes place in San Francisco August 17 and 18, 2007. The Bandwidth Conference features leaders from the music, technology and media worlds.

San Francisco, CA (Billboard Publicity Wire/PRWEB ) August 8, 2007 -- The Bandwidth Music | Technology Conference, which explores the evolving musical experience, announced today that Alejandro Escovedo will appear as the artist keynote in a "conversation with" format at the conference, which takes place in San Francisco August 17 and 18, 2007. The Austin-based Mr. Escovedo is a critically-lauded artist known for his intricate and stunning works, with a solo career spanning decades. He first came to the public eye as a member of seminal Bay Area punk band The Nuns, and later as a member of the band Rank and File. Last year he released his seventh solo album, The Boxing Mirror, which was produced by John Cale.

Previously announced were two other keynote conversations, Peter Standish, VP of Marketing at Warner Bros. Records and Jordan Kurland of Zeitgeist Artist Management, which manages Death Cab For Cutie, Feist, and Rogue Wave amongst others.

The Bandwidth Conference features panels on marketing, fan behavior, trends and future forecasts, and an examination of the ways people discover, purchase, interact with, and are exposed to music. The event attracts more than 200 executives to this unique and intimate gathering.
