If you're looking to make your mark as a poker player, you won't find a better opportunity than this. Or, for that matter, a better low-investment, high-return qualifier.
Curaçao, Netherlands Antilles (PRWEB) August 8, 2007
As poker players the world over scramble for buy-ins to the first-ever World Series of Poker Europe*, PokerListings.com (http://www.pokerlistings.com/gnuf), and leading poker room GNUF.com (http://gnuf.com/partner/?track=1ecbd12fe72da7ed8738a4d6c80568b2), are making it easy for one of their own to take a seat in the most prestigious poker event in Europe.
Now on the table for PokerListings players: $33,000 in freerolls, including a $25,000, 80-player max. freeroll for a massive prize package - including the hefty £10,000 buy-in and expenses - for the inaugural WSOP Europe Main Event* in London.
"This is the first pitch," says Camilla Sundell, press secretary for PokerListings.com, "in a whole new ball game as far as the World Series of Poker goes."
"And, really, as far as poker in Europe is concerned. A £10,000 buy-in. The absolute best names in poker packing the field. The first-time ever the iconic gold bracelet will be handed out on foreign soil."
"If you're looking to make your mark as a poker player, you won't find a better opportunity than this. Or, for that matter, a better low-investment, high-return qualifier."
How it works: Just 25 points at Gnuf Poker during the week qualifies you for a Sunday freeroll tournament, running each week from July 8 to Aug. 26.
Each has a $1,000 prize pool, and the top ten finishers in each one automatically qualify for a lucrative $25,000 freeroll on Aug. 31.
So at most only 80 players will square off in the final showdown, with the winner taking the prize package and a seat at one of the most exclusive, history-making poker tournaments ever.
If you've never played at Gnuf before, there's an added benefit: new players who sign-up through a PokerListings.com link also receive a $500 sign-up bonus at 100% match - ten times the standard.
"Gnuf," adds Sundell, "is dialed in to the next generation of poker players. They're young, they know the game, and they know exactly what poker players are looking for: nice software, cool promotions, big tournaments, and a place to make your game better."
"Beyond the great promotions," she adds, "you can build a personal profile, start up a blog, hold chat sessions… all the things you'd do on a social network, but with the advantage of some of the best young poker minds on the Web."
"So even if you don't score the package, you still get first-rate access to one of the best new poker sites going. We hope everyone can take advantage of it."
