Doug Johnson Picked to Serve on CSU Alumni Association Board of Directors

Fort Collins (PRWEB) August 9, 2007 -- Community leader Doug Johnson, a Vice President at First Western Trust Bank in Fort Collins, was selected recently to serve on the Colorado State University Alumni Association Board of Directors.
Mr. Johnson, who graduated from CSU in 1993 with a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts, joined the 24-member board in July and will serve a 3-year term. The Alumni Association Board of Directors represents the voice of more than 140,000 CSU alumni and supports the University through the execution of the Alumni Association's strategic plan.

In addition to the CSU Alumni Board, Mr. Johnson has served as the president of the Poudre School District Foundation board of directors, and is a member of the Community Foundation of Northern Colorado Fort Collins Local Advisory Board, and the Editorial Board of the Coloradoan newspaper. In addition, he is a regular United Way volunteer.
