Join Saint Joseph's Coach Phil Martelli in Margate Aug. 18

The Hawk Hoop Club invites all college basketball fans to join Head Coach Phil Martelli from Saint Joseph's University for a Clambake and BBQ at Maynard's Café in Margate City, NJ.

Philadelphia, PA (PRWEB) August 9, 2007 -- Saint Joseph's Basketball Coach Phil Martelli will host the 9th Annual Hawks by the Bay" on Saturday evening August 18 from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Maynards Café 9306 Amherst Avenue in Margate City, NJ.

This informal gathering of Hawk basketball fans will feature Phil sharing his thoughts on the upcoming 2007-08 campaign at Saint Joseph's University as well as the recent changes within the Atlantic 10 and the ongoing plans for renovating the basketball facilities on Hawk Hill.

Media members are invited to enjoy an all you can eat Clambake & BBQ with the coach and the members of the Hawk Hoop Club as our guests for this lively session. We ask that you RSVP in advance so that your credentials will be waiting for you when you arrive.

The general public is also invited to enjoy this fun evening with Coach Martelli and the Saint Joseph's fans. The cost for the event is $22 reserved (or $27 at the door) for adults and $12 for children 12 and under in advance ($15 at the door) and includes the Clambake, BBQ, Corn on the Cob, assorted salads and more, with a cash bar available as well as sodas. There will be photo and autograph opportunities as well.
