Foot Care Manufacturer Reaches Out to Diabetics With "Diabetic-Friendly" Topicals

Diabetes affects 16 million Americans, and, as all diabetics know, foot and leg care is critical to managing the condition. (PRWEB) August 13, 2007 -- Diabetes affects 16 million Americans, and, as all diabetics know, foot and leg care is critical to managing the condition. Recognizing the fact that daily observation and proper care of the feet is essential to diabetic quality of life, foot care manufacturers have responded with products that are formulated to take their specific needs into account.

Xenna Corporation, a distributor of foot care products sold nationwide in chain drug stores, is an example of a company that has factored in the particular needs of diabetics. CEO C. J. Buck says, "Dry feet are a problem for many people of all ages, but are an even greater problem for diabetics. Our products have been formulated to be both natural and "diabetic-friendly."

Xenna's patented CalleX® Ointment uses natural enzymes to exfoliate unsightly flakes and thin hardened soles, while its petrolatum base moisturizes dry skin on heels and feet. Buck says CalleX should be used daily for two to four weeks and then once or twice weekly for maintenance.

Buck adds, "The thing that makes CalleX different than other products for dry feet is that it's formulated with natural enzymes and is free of potentially-irritating acids, parabens and lanolin. The enzymes exfoliate only dry, hardened skin, leaving normal skin unaffected. CalleX Ointment also moisturizes and rejuvenates dry, cracked heels."

The results of a four-week, in-use evaluation of CalleX Ointment by insulin-dependent diabetics confirmed that CalleX Ointment is diabetic-friendly.

CalleX Ointment is sold in the foot care section of Walgreens, Rite Aid, Longs, HEB grocery stores, Kerr Drug, Snyders Giant Eagle, Bi-Lo, Bruno's and many Medicine Shoppe pharmacies, as well as online at www.callexointment.com.

Xenna also distributes patented, diabetic-friendly NonyX® Nail Gel, a topical, easy-to-use gel that breaks down and removes keratin debris - the discolored, yellow or thick granular buildup under nails which causes toenails and fingernails to appear yellow, dark or discolored. Formulated to provide a natural, diabetic-friendly solution to unattractive toenails, NonyX uses natural ethanoic acid to exfoliate keratin debris buildup, leaving nails clear and healthy-looking with regular use.

NonyX Nail Gel can be purchased in the foot care section of Walgreens, Rite Aid, CVS, Wal-Mart, Longs, TARGET, Eckerd Pharmacy, Brooks Pharmacy, Duane Reade, HEB and Giant Eagle grocery stores, Kerr Drug, Snyders and most Medicine Shoppes. Online, it is also available at www.xenna.com .
