Everest Poker Announces August 11 Avalanche Round 3 Tournament
The online poker room has announced that a third-round Everest Poker Avalanche tournament will be held on 11 August. The Everest Poker Avalanche is a $1,000,000 guaranteed holdem poker tournament.
Montreal, QC (PRWEB) August 13, 2007 -- Everest Poker www.everestpoker.com has announced that a third-round Everest Poker Avalanche tournament would take place on 11 August, 2007 at 15:00 GMT. The Everest Poker Avalanche is a series of daily and weekly online poker tournaments that will culminate in an online finale, held 17 September, 2007 at 15:00 GMT.
"When the last ten players are reached in the online finale, that's when the real fin begins," said Jonathan May, Everest Poker property manager. "At this point, the game will stop and be continued on a Costa Cruise ship in the Mediterranean. Onboard, the final ten players will compete for their share of a guaranteed $1,000,000 prize."
Spanning nine months, the Everest Poker Avalanche involves both online play as well as live poker games. The tournament features a three-round structure that allows players at all levels to join in. Round 1 satellites are designed for players looking for little up-front risk: buy-ins are $3+.30 or $11+1. Round 2 satellites are ideal for players that are more confident in their ability and wish to save time - the buy-in is $56+5.
