"As most people know, the problems facing the manufacturing sector are not limited to just one issue. It's a whole series of issues ranging from the cost of healthcare, labor shortages, globalization of lower tech manufacturing to China and regulatory issues, just to name a few," said Sheppard. He went on to say, "In some respects, it's as though the small to mid-size manufacturers have been forgotten, and we need to do everything we can to make sure they survive. There are a lot of jobs at stake."
