Music. Technology. Cocktails: Bandwidth Music & Technology Conference Starts This Week

The Bandwidth Music | Technology Conference takes place in San Francisco this week and features keynote conversations with Alejandro Escovedo, Peter Standish, VP of Marketing at Warner Bros. Records and Jordan Kurland of Zeitgeist Artist Management. The Bandwidth Conference gathers leaders from the music, technology and media worlds and takes place in San Francisco on August 17 and 18, 2007.

San Francisco, CA (Billboard Publicity Wire/PRWEB ) August 13, 2007 -- The Bandwidth Music | Technology Conference, which explores music and technology and the evolving musical experience, will take place this week in San Francisco on August 17 and 18. Keynote conversations will be singer/songwriter Alejandro Esovedo, Peter Standish, VP of Marketing at Warner Bros. Records and Jordan Kurland of Zeitgeist Artist Management, which manages Death Cab For Cutie, Feist, and Rogue Wave amongst others. The conference also features networking events, thus the cocktails in their motto "Music. Technology. Cocktails."

The conference features panels on music marketing, fan behavior, trends and future forecasts, and an examination of the ways people discover, purchase, interact with and are exposed to music. Speakers at this year's event include David Hyman, Founder and CEO, MOG; Tim Mitchell, VP of Marketing, IODA; Bill Nguyen, Founder, Lala.com; Antony Bruno, Billboard Magazine; Vickie Strate, Metallica HQ; Tom Chauncey, Partisan Arts; Dave Jaworski, Co-Founder & CEO, PassAlong Networks; Christine Eichelberger, Nat'l Account Marketing Director, SONYBMG Music Entertainment; Gary Bongiovanni, President and Editor-In-Chief, POLLSTAR; Nancy Miller, Wired and dozens of other industry leaders.
