The American Filtration & Separations Society (AFS) announces its 3rd Bi-Annual Emission Solutions in Transportation Conference, October 16-18th in Ann Arbor, MI.
The transportation industry faces many challenges including overseas competition, but as important, constant government and consumer pressure to extend vehicle mileage and the reduction of harmful emissions from both gasoline and diesel fuel engines.
The 3RD Emission Solutions in Transportation Conference provides a unique event for engineering professionals who seek to gain insight and answers to complex emission issues across the entire emissions spectrum. Topics include filtration media, cabin air filtration, crankcase ventilation and coalescing devices to diesel particulate filters and other un-met industry needs. Alternative solutions such as clean fuels, fuel cells and emerging technologies will play an important a role at the conference as engineers devise and commercialize new technologies.
Conference attendees are emission and exhaust parts and system suppliers, industry engine builders/OEM's; individuals interested in the latest advances in technology, modeling, standards, test methods including gasoline and diesel engine emission solutions. The objective is to educate the attendee concerning standards, product innovation as well as provide an opportunity to link with industry suppliers, customers and leaders who are making strategic investments for the future.
The conference will feature a number of nationally recognized keynote and session speakers including Charlie Freese, Executive Director, Diesel Engine Engineering at General Motors Powertrain, Erik White, Director, Heavy-Duty Diesel at CARB, Craig Barnes, Executive Director, Cummins Engine Solutions and Cleophas Jackson, Ass't. Director Compliance and Innovative EPA Strategies Division.
