About The Perry Twins
The Perry Twins, brothers Doug & Derek Perry, are based in Los Angeles and have been disc jockeying professionally since the late nineties. They have spun throughout the US at hot clubs, outrageous parties, Pride festivals, and star-studded Hollywood events. Originally from the east coast, Doug & Derek developed a passion for music at a very young age. They inherited their rhythm and love of performing from their parents who are in a rock band called "Fortune." Their Mom sings and Dad plays drums. The Perry Twins grew up dancing and playing music so it was no surprise when they decided to take on DJ'ing, choreographing, dancing and remixing professionally. When the Perry Twins began spinning at clubs, they started their own radio mixshow called "Dance Planet," which aired for five years in New England. During that time, Derek & Doug's dance troupe of the same name performed throughout New York and the east coast at concerts, clubs and Pride events. Since relocating to Los Angeles, the twins have danced and choreographed for shows all over the country and their "twintastic" mixshow featuring the freshest circuit / trance / tribal / progressive / house / dance music can now be heard internationally on 1DanceFM, Tag Art Music Online, and's Circuit Mix. The Perry Twins have worked with some of dance music's hottest artists including Kristine W, Gioia Bruno, Taborah, Lauren Hildebrandt, Thea Austin, Ari Gold, Jeanie Tracy, Alyson, and Rockell. Doug and Derek have danced on NBC's "American Dreams," interviewed celebrities on FOX's "On-Air With Ryan Seacrest," competed on UPN's "Dance 360," back-up danced in "Chippendales: The Show," appeared on Disney Channel's "That's So Raven," starred in national TV commercials and created original music for film and television. 2006 saw the release of many Perry Twins remixes including those they produced for Josh Riptide & Randy Friess' "Streets Paved of Gold," Livewater's "Hey! Uh huh!" and the Billboard Top 20 hit "Getcha Some" by Pleasure Center. Derek & Doug recently produced a remix of the Prince classic "Little Red Corvette" for Ohsha Kai's live performances and Donna Summer's "Heaven Knows" for Kristine W. The video they produced for Kristine W's number 1 Billboard smash hit "Save My Soul" has just been released on Promo Only and Rock America. The Perry Twins recently completed new remixes for Gioia Bruno, Taborah, Ernest Kohl and Evan Cowden. Currently they are in the studio working on remixes for Stevie Jewel, Alyson, Funny Boy Films' Naked Boys Singing, and Logo's "Big Gay Sketch Show."
